This is one of “those”, and by those I mean incredibly scary intense movies with an incredible amount of gore. Also there is philosophy, more than you’d think for a movie pitched this high on the crazy scale. Pascal Laugier’s Martyrs is one those love ’em or hate ’em affairs, and I was lucky enough to sit down with freelance writer, editor and friend Ariel Fisher to talk about it. (SPOILER: She’s firmly in the “love ’em” category). I loved this chat, and think you’ll love it too.
