This week, for the first time in A Frame Apart history, we’re taking your suggestion! Or, rather, Eric Stroppel’s suggestion. That’s right, it’s an episode based entirely around listener input! Back in June around our Divergent Month, Eric sent us a message on Facebook as a result of our prequels episode on Rogue One VS Temple of Doom suggesting a look at J.J. Abram’s Star Trek (2009) VS X-Men: Days of Future Past. The idea was to discuss how the use of time travel wound up making these films a strange prequel, reboot hybrid. So this week, we’re discussing Eric’s suggested films, and how the creation of an alternate timeline both successfully and … less successfully reinvigorated two franchises.
