This week, we’re getting into the new superhero blockbuster from Zack Snyder: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Is it a drab, dusty piece of gloomy filmmaking or are the critics just out to get this piece of popular fluff? Greg and Casey find out, before Dan cues up the television adaptation of It’s a Bird… It’s a Plane… It’s Superman! Yes, the 70s broadway musical made its way to the small-screen, and it might just be worth your time. Then, we talk about an album by Steve Winwood… and we discover a higher love.
But first, we talk about Phife Dawg and Garry Shandling, review The First Power, Schitt’s Creek, Finder’s Keepers, The Devil at your Heels, and much more!

I just want to point out that I pulled Jeff Kober immediately, off of Greg’s “evil Steve Tyler” description. I am very proud of myself.

The problem with the wind being a character AS WELL Shamalan is that people would confuse them…I mean they both blow so
The problem with the whitewashing in avatar is that in the show all the characters are POC, with the air bender tribe as closest to what they cast the fire benders. Everything about the movie wrung any bit of interest from the show like blood from stone.
The series is brilliant- if you have to watch any episode watch The Ember Island Players. They knew at this point that a movie would be made so they did a ‘clip show’ type episode by having the characters go to a play based on their own travels….just watch it.

Haha – nice execution on that ‘they both blow’ joke, that got me good this morning.
I’ve not had a lot of interest in A:TLAB but I’ll have to check out that episode on your recommendation. Thanks!
