It’s that time again! We’re back with Episode 155 of See You Next Wednesday! This week, Dan and Casey check out Neill Blomkamp’s crazy robot movie CHAPPiE, while Greg endures the Asylum mockbuster production Transmorphers. Then, they listen to Randy Newman‘s album Born Again and decide if it’s as clever as it thinks it is.
Plus, in the Itty Bitty Tid Bit Committee we discuss the potential and potential downfall of a Ghostbusters shared universe, thank some of our listeners for their letters, weigh in on The Last Man on Earth and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, review the Mark Hamill vehicle Corvette Summer, and so much more!

Great show dudes. I was thinking for life after 90210 yeah Beverly Hills you could do an ultimate Kurt Russell challenge, as in who is the ultimate Kurt Russell film portrayal? Snake Pliskin or Captian Ron? Also to try out future ideas an approach might be to do an alternative 15min or so podcast where listeners could vote, like pilot season.
Anyway love the show keep up the good work, I really look forward to listening every Wednesday. And I’m more than a little proud of you guys for staying committed and growing your media empire. Thumbs up all around.
Also Gorman I’ll be at the gallery tomorrow (Saturday) of you and Emma want to swing by.

Casey, House of Cards is so much easier to get into if you picture Claire Underwood as David Bowie. Not “as played by David Bowie,” but literally David Bowie playing a kinky game with Frank Underwood that everyone ignores out of politeness.

I know Matt Mira was excited to see Chappie. I think the ladies deserve their own franchise, and not to be stuck in the middle of one that people are going to purposefully avoid because they don’t want their memories soured. Until I see a script, I will consider the proposed all men Ghostbusters to be nothing but a cash grab.
