This week we travel back to 1989 to check out Snake Eater, an insane Lorenzo Lamas vehicle about an ex cop who must outwit some dumb hillbillies to rescue his sister. Then we discuss De La Soul’s debut album, 3 Feet High and Rising and it’s powerful impact on the world of hip hop.

Our guest this week is rapper Timbuktu (Swamp Thing, Teenburger).

modernsuperior AllanMcPherson It was more like my feelings were hurt.  I mean, it kinda promised a mash up of Rambo, The
Punisher and MacGyver. ..and  it was Snake Eater.  The plus was the only other guy in the Theatre, who was kinda greasy and twitchy, left before me without incident.

AllanMcPherson Amazing! What did you think at the time – were you confused? Astounded? Did you leave with a headache?

I saw Snake Eater in the Theatre.  You can’t buy memories like that.  Actually, it cost about 6 bucks on a Tuesday matinee.  So that’s probably about right.
