Episode 196 – Star Wars: The Force Awakens & Ridiculous 6

SW-THE-FORCE-AWAKENS

This week, it’s the one you’ve all been waiting for! Our Star Wars: The Force Awakens episode is here. This week, all three of us woke up and went to the theater to watch J.J. Abrams’ long-anticipated Star Wars entry together – and we even recorded our immediate thoughts, just seconds after stepping out of the film.

Plus, Dan also suffered through the latest Adam Sandler joint Ridiculous 6 and is here to tell you how offensively unfunny it is. Finally, Greg and Casey had to listen to some Vengaboys Christmas remixes.

Plus, there’s lots of Star Wars talk before, and we watched Making a Murderer, Harmontown, The Wild Pair, Fargo, The Man Who Wasn’t There, the 12 Monkeys pilot, and so much more!

I heard your review of The Ridiculous Six and thought to myself “It can’t be that bad, these guys must just be doing the old critic thing” and decided to watch the movie myself.

Well, that’s 2 hours of my life I’m not getting back!

I think the only part where I actually laughed was when Nick Nolte told one of his gang to bring the girl out of the cave and the Left Eye Gang member who lost her immediately shouted “FOUND HER! Told you I’d find her”

I promise to believe all of your reviews from now on.

Unlike Tony D’Amico I am in love with you.

Haha, amazing. Thanks for reaching out, John. I told you, about Ridiculous Six! You can’t say I didn’t try and warn you away. I definitely agree with you about there being one or two chuckles – I thought the same about the baseball moment, before it became so stretched out and extended. I’m sorry you had to sit through that, ha.

Hey guys, i just wanted to say i hope you all have a great holiday. Also in guessing that the Venga Boys reggae background comes from the island of Aruba which you may or may not know is a Dutch owned or colonized country in the Caribbean. Just a little fyi. Anyway, love you guys. Wel,l i love you but I’m not in love with you.
