This week, on See You Next Wednesday: Greg and Dan put on their thinking caps and execute the turing test on writer-director Alex Garland‘s science-fiction artificial intelligence thriller Ex MachinaThen, Casey gets into a car accident, subsequently hit by lightning, and turns ageless while watching the romantic schmaltz-fest that is The Age of Adaline. Afterwards, Greg and Dan pick apart Ninja Sex Party‘s decidedly unfunny and offensive “comedy” “album” NSFW before rolling to see who gets to watch Avengers: Age of Ultron next week.

But before we get ahead of ourselves, we talk about plenty of movie news – including the latest photos of Jared Leto as The Joker, some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles updates, trailer for The Visit, CUB, and Black Mass – as well as review what we’ve been watching this week – from Cold in JulyLife Itself, the 1983 post-apocalypse drama TestamentGarfunkel & Oats’ IFC comedy, and so much more!

All of this, plus Dan walks us through a Season 3 episode of Beverly Hills, 90210 in 9021Oh Yeah! Relay at the end of the show.

It’s a mega-packed super-special episode, so get listening – and don’t forget to email us your punishment album suggestions!

Dude, yes. Those moments where thing slowly become the ‘norm’ in the town are crushing and so well paced.

Jesus, Testament. That movie is both brilliant and horrifying and Jane Alexander is so freaking great. And (SPOILERS) it’s really well done how things are falling apart and horrid things become the new normal, like a kid riding his bike past shrouded bodies being readied for burial.

Also Matt Brown and Matthew Price, that’s how you bribe your way to more podcast mentions. It’s on.

Very curious about Ex Machina. The preview we saw was beat for beat the 50 Shades of Grey preview for the first half, but somehow it still seems so cool.
